The Maleny Arts Co-op is a community-driven organization dedicated to cultivating, supporting, and promoting a vibrant arts environment. We provide platforms for artists to showcase their work, collaborate, share their skills, and mentor youth and emerging talent. Our mission is to celebrate diverse creativity, inspire artistic expression, and enrich the cultural life within our region.

Maleny has a rich history of arts and music, and our Co-op aims to preserve and enhance this culture. By fostering connections between artists, the community, businesses, and visitors, we strengthen the arts scene in Maleny. Our long-term vision includes establishing an arts precinct in the heart of Maleny for performances, exhibitions, mentoring, and workshops. The Co-op structure allows us to garner broad community support and involvement.

We offer several membership levels to suit different needs and contributions - you can join up here:

• Raise the Roof Membership - $100 

  • 1-year membership to Maleny Arts Co-op

  • Share certificate and voting rights

  • Copy of Volume #1 of the FrontUp Compilation album

  • $5 entry to FrontUp Chalkboard events

  • Sponsor’s "brick" in our wall mural to acknowledge your support

  • Funds go directly to the Raise the Roof fund

• Annual Membership - $25 

  • 1-year membership to Maleny Arts Co-op

  • Share certificate and voting rights

  • $5 entry to FrontUp Chalkboard events

• Younger Gen Membership (Under 21 years old) - $10

  • 1-year membership to Maleny Arts Co-op

  • Free entry to FrontUp Chalkboard events

  • Access to Maleny Arts Co-op support and services

As a member, you'll receive a share in the Co-op and voting rights, allowing you to have a say in our direction. Depending on your membership level, you'll also receive benefits like discounted or free entry to our events, a compilation album, and recognition in our community projects. Your membership helps sustain and develop the arts and music culture in Maleny and surrounding areas.

Our current fundraising campaign, "Raise the Roof," is focused on building a roof over Maleny Lane. This addition will allow us to host more events without weather interruptions, providing a consistent space for music, arts, workshops, and community gatherings. In the future, we aim to expand the arts precinct beyond Maleny Lane.

Apart from becoming a member, there are several ways you can support the Maleny Arts Co-op:

• Donations: Contributions to our fundraising campaigns, such as "Raise the Roof," are greatly appreciated.

• Volunteer: We're always looking for skilled individuals to help with various aspects of our operations, from event planning to technical support.

• Spread the Word: Share our mission and events with friends and family to help grow our community.

You can get involved by becoming a member, attending our events, volunteering your skills, or donating to our campaigns. We welcome all who are passionate about supporting the arts in Maleny.

Over 40% of our music events have been canceled due to inclement weather this year. A roof over Maleny Lane will provide a reliable space for events, enhancing the opportunities for local musicians and artists, and creating a vibrant community hub for all to enjoy.
